Human Mobile Devices (HMD) has launched Amped Buds, a groundbreaking pair of wireless earbuds that come with a 1600mAh reverse wireless charging case capable of powering up your smartphone. The innovative product combines top-notch sound quality with the convenience of extra power, offering a seamless listening experience while alleviating battery anxiety.
Available from March 2, 2025, the Amped Buds feature active noise cancellation (ANC) and environmental noise cancellation (ENC) for crystal-clear audio. The earbuds also come with a sleek, ultra-thin 80g case that supports wireless charging for devices such as the HMD Skyline and select Apple iPhones, with the added benefit of magnetic charging for convenience.
The 1600mAh battery in the case is three times larger than most competitors, providing up to 20% additional power to an iPhone 16 when magnetically attached and 24% when plugged in. This makes it ideal for users who need extra juice for essential apps on the go.
With an emphasis on design, the charging case features a durable aluminum alloy construction with a matte finish, available in Black, Cyan, and Pink. The earbuds themselves offer up to 8 hours of listening time on a single charge, and the charging case extends this to an impressive 95 hours of music playback.
HMD’s Amped Buds are also equipped with a 10mm precision-tuned driver for balanced sound and responsive bass. For calls, the triple microphone array ensures clear voice isolation while minimizing background noise. Users can also customize their sound experience through the Amped Buds app for both Android and iOS.
