Hexagon Names Gordon Dale as President of Autonomous Solutions Division

Hexagon AB has appointed Gordon Dale as the new President of its Autonomous Solutions (AS) division. In this role, he will report directly to Norbert Hanke, interim President and CEO of Hexagon.
Dale has been with Hexagon for 16 years, joining the company following its acquisition of NovAtel, a leading provider of high-precision positioning technology. Over the years, he has held several leadership roles within the AS division, most recently serving as Chief Synergy Officer. In that capacity, he played a key role in integrating the Autonomy & Positioning and Mining businesses into a unified AS division. Dale holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
"As we complete the integration of the Autonomous Solutions division, now is the right time to consolidate leadership under a single vision," said Norbert Hanke, interim President and CEO of Hexagon, in a press release. "Gordon’s deep industry expertise makes him the ideal choice to lead this next phase of growth, and I am delighted he has accepted the role."
